Peanut Butter Protein Packed Power Balls

Most people love something to eat a little more delectable, a dessert so here is a fun way to have something as a sweet treat and prepare ahead to have on hand for alittle something yummy. This no-bake dessert is classified as more of a healthy snack and is high in protein. These peanut butter no-bake protein balls are quite possibly the easiest snack to put together in a few minutes and have on hand. 

These Peanut butter balls are a great make ahead of time for the busy on-the-go daily schedule of an athlete so they have a healthy snack option ready to pop in their mouth and provide nutrients essential to stay properly fueled. Consuming more protein is important to the body for performance and recovery. So, why not enjoy the protein as a little treat.


Directions:

Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and begin with stirring everything together. You may have to use your hands to mix it all really well. Then take an ice-cream scoop and form balls. Place them in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator or freezer.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Natural Peanut Butter

1 ½ Cups Rolled Oats

2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein Powder (about 50-60 grams)

¼ Cup Honey

3 Tablespoons of Dark Chocolate Chips

A pinch of sea salt
